Creating your own cloud server using 'Next Cloud'

 Where do you store your files over the cloud? There are so many commercial alternatives to do it, like Google Drive, DropBox, OneDrive, iCloud and many more. But are you aware that most of these services are not good at handling the privacy of your data, infact there business trade up on the data you store with them. NextCloud is open source file sync and share software for everyone from individuals, to large enterprises. Next Cloud is free and open source cloud software to create your own cloud server. The cloud server not only serves for storage requirements but can also serve as service to provide facilities like photo gallery, music and video streaming, mail client, caldav Sync for calendar and tasks, etc. It also has native clients to use it different operating systems on desktop/laptop as well as phones/tablets. Whether you are using a mobile device, a workstation, or a web client, NextCloud provides the ability to put the right files in the right hands at the right time on any device with one simple-to-use, secure, private and controlled solution.NextCloud provides a safe, secure, and compliant file synchronization and sharing solution on servers that you control. This talk will enable the attendees to setup an nextCloud server up and running in minutes. This server can then be accessed from other computers, mobiles etc in the same network using a web UI, or using a desktop clients and mobile apps.
