Satish Annigeri

I am a Civil and Structural Engineer and teach postgraduate students of Structural Engineering at B.V.B. College of Engineering & Technology, Hubli. I work in the area of structural dynamics and earthquake engineering and guide research students in earthquake engineering related topics.

I  am interested in numerical computations, algorithms and program design and have expertise in using Fortran and C/C++ for scientific computations.

I have been using FLOSS for over 14 years and currently use FLOSS tools, such as, Scilab, GNU Octave, gnuplot, LaTeX, to support my teaching and research. I am keen on promoting use of FLOSS by educational institutions in their teching and pedagogical practices.
