Speaker is a Project coordinator of the Indian Linux Project ( http //www.indlinux.org ) since 2000.

He has built up considerable experience in i18n & l10n areas of FOSS technologies, Fonts and Indian language issues. Based on this he has been working towards a making a fully Indian language enabled GNU/Linux distribution. Speaker is also Hindi language coordinator for GNOME and KDE projects, and also involved in Debian i18n efforts. He has played an active role in promoting localization activities and while leading, helped form Localization teams for other languages ( Gujarati, Telugu , Punjabi, Oriya etc) and also trained Nepali and Bhutanese localization teams. The speaker is also an active member of  Pune LUG and other GLUGs across India.

Speaker holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science, and worked as a freelancer and with FreeOS.com, Developer at Netcore Solutions, Sarai - as Project Associate (which were sponsors for IndLinux project).

Presently working with Symantec as Sr. Software Engineer.
